Bleeding Green: The Power of Passive Income
I have a quick question for you – “Do you realize how powerful passive income really is?”
I ask you this because I was pondering this very question last Saturday night after I’d put my little kids to bed, and it’s been on my mind all week.
We had just returned from a Halloween bash my wife’s aunt puts on every year. We dressed up as the Boston Celtics. I was the coach, I had my starting five at my side…and you can see my favorite little leprechaun Lucky and the most beautiful referee ever. As you probably guessed, our family bleeds green.
Well…as I sat there in the chair, surprised to find myself with some peace and quiet – these are a few thoughts that came to me as I looked at this picture…
“I want my bank account to bleed some deep green. The ‘passive-income-kind-of-green.’ So I can spend lots more time with these guys!”
Now the BIG reason why I need more passive income may be a little different than yours, but I do know one thing…
Passive income creates flexibility and options that you don’t have without it.
Most people know generally what passive income is, but have you really weighed out how more passive income could change your entire life — in ways you likely never thought possible.
What would you do with your time if there were no limitations? If you didn’t have to work a full-time job? Have you written your answers down on paper or in a journal? Will you commit to do that? By when? Are the answers to these questions really important to you?
Once you’ve written it down – Will you review it everyday? What you focus on expands!
Here’s how Wikipedia (gospel, right?) defines passive income:
income received on a regular basis, with little effort required to maintain it.
I am not talking about a ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme here…anything that is worthwhile in life requires time and effort. You are going to have to roll up your sleeves and do some work. But wouldn’t you like to get paid for that work you did over and over again…months and years into the future?
Of course you would!
That is why I love real estate and note investing!

I believe it is one of, if not the most important skill I possess – to create passive income from scratch without any of my own money…and I want to help you learn it, too – or be a big part of enhancing that skill set if you’re already creating it.

The late Zig Ziglar says, “You can have everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
I have a lot that I want in life – I just need more people to help get what they want 🙂
